Bolney is a peaceful English village set at the edge of the Sussex Downs with easy access from the M23/A23/A272 and only 20 minutes from Brighton, Gatwick Airport and the Bluebell Steam Railway.

Our beautiful 12th century Anglican church, dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene is steeped in history and has continuously served the local community for over 800 years.

With seating for 150 guests (and 50 standing), step free wheelchair access, ample free adjacent car parking (with disabled provision) and fully heated, it makes for an ideal wedding location.

The church boasts a substantial traditional pipe organ, a peel of 8 bells and a full sound system with hearing induction loop and recorded audio playback capability.

Other facilities include toilet with disabled access and baby changing facilities, together with an open area suitable for additional seating, a small musical ensemble or the serving of light refreshments.

Adjacent to the church is the well kept churchyard with an area perfect for photography and just alongside, our quintessentially English village pub and archetypal cricket ground.

The experienced team includes organist, bell ringers, verger and church flower arrangers.

Locally, there are 1st class venues suitable both for hosting the reception and providing overnight accommodation.

Please remember that there are basic legal and local qualifying conditions that must be met before you can be married in church.
